THE ANIMAL KINGDOM

Animals can be wild or domestic.

Wild animals don't live with us.

Pets and farm animals are domestic animals. They live close to us.

Animals move in different ways.

Some animals fly in the air.

Some animals swim in the water.

Some animals slither or walk on land.

Animals can be vertebrates or invertebrates.

Animals with a backbone and a skeleton are called vertebrates.

Fish, cows, chickens and crocodiles are examples of vertebrates animals.

Animals without a backbone are called invertebrates.

Worms, spiders, snails, butterflies and jellyfish are examples of invertebrates animals.
